The Electric Light Orchestra were one of the biggest and most successful bands of the late 1970s, producing a massive string of hit singles and albums that almost any other band would envy. Their works have been cited as influences by such hip acts as Grandaddy and Super Furry Animals. Their frontman and leader Jeff Lynne has been the producer of choice for people like Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and George Harrison. From "Evil Woman", "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr Blue Sky" to "Livin' Thing" and "Hold On Tight", there are few duds amongst these 20 remastered tracks. ELO produced some of the biggest and best singles in rock & roll's history, and All Over The World: The Very Best Of ELO is an excellent reintroduction to this great band. A must have for E.L.O. Fans
The first time I played this, it just takes you back in time. All the songs on this CD are fantasic. If you've lost all your old albums, (using the word albums, should date us all.) and want the best songs of E.L.O. this is the one to spend your money on.

ELO!
I don't know where to start with this one. I was a huge fan of ELO back in the 70's. Absolutely loved their music! This CD contains many of the classic hits which take me back over time 30 years or so! They had a huge talent and most of it's all right here on this CD.

Best ELO CD EVER!!!
I love this CD it's my favorite out of the bunch! The songs are remastered, and the tracks, are perfectly a lined with favorite songs, back to back. Some peeps were upset, because Xanadu does not have Olivia Newton John, but so what...this CD features the ELO band only, and totally Rocks 20 massive hits! If your a die hard ELO fan or just interested, this CD is a definite must have to add to your music collection!

I never knew the name of this group....
Until the recent Honda commercial, I never knew the name of this group.
Then I went to the Honda site, and found out "Hold on Tight" was done by ELO. I went to Amazon, sampled the CD, found out that I had loved many of their songs over the years and had been unaware of their identity.
I now play it constantly, and my 87 year old mother wants a copy! A cross-generational hit!
