Works great!
I bought this item and it works great to cool my laptop down. I frequently running big apps in my laptop and it would become so hot in the top left that I cannot even tough the metal part (e.g VGA connector). With this cooler, the temperature does go down a lot. Rating:

Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler
This product lives up to its promise! Before using it, my notebook overheated constantly, causing serious performance degradation - after installing it, it does not overheat at all. Product is easy to install and very good value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone having an overheating problem, meaning that the notebook fan cooler is frequently firing up. Although it raises the height of the notebook by about 2 inches, it is not a practical issue, compared to the advantages. Rating:

I'm a believer
I'm a heavy notebook user, so I was interested in anything that could cool down my laptop and remove the nasty smell a it emits when overheated. I was skeptical of the Antec's claims but now, after a couple months of use, I'm a believer.
BTW: I picked this up during an Amazon sale, so the list price wasn't a deterrent

so far, so good
I purchased this notebook cooler a few weeks ago for my macbook 13", and I love it. It barely makes a sound. The first time I had to put my ear near the computer to hear it. And the laptop stays absolutely cool. I am very happy, would highly recommend! |
