Not what's pictured!
Beware! This cable is not what is pictured. It is not an authentic Apple cable and it looks quite a bit cheaper than the pictured cord which is an authentic Apple product. It would have been good to know that upfront.

Not an Apple original, power works, but not sync
First, this is not an Apple-branded part as the description claims. Second, while it delivers power, sync did not work at all. My Mac had trouble seeing the iPod: it caused iTunes to hang.

I replaced it with B000IJ73NU from this site and that is the true, working Apple product.

Not the genuine Apple product, but it works
This item was listed as "Apple Dock Connector to USB 2.0 Cable (White)". I thought that meant it was the genuine Apple cable, but what I got (supplied by ClearAV) was an aftermarket cable, not the genuine Apple cable. It is not as elegant as the genuine Apple cable, and it has a sort of new vinyl smell, but it works.

Works Great, super cheap
It's hard to go wrong with this. Other bad reviewers just need a little apple picture to make them feel assured. Works Great.
