Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-07-07 not bad i've been using this for 2 yrs. About 2 wks ago, the sound in the right ear bud became thinner. But 2 yrs is not bad, especially since is not expensive. They fit into my ear well, never falls out while i'm working out. The sound quality is not bad, if u r not very particular about getting the ear bud with the best sound, this one definitely works. Overall i like it, i'm getting another one. Rating: Date: 2008-06-29 iPod earphones I was happy when I first got my earphones, but have been slightly dissatisfied with them. They work and all, but there've been a few defects. On the earphones themselves have an L and R for each ear ... but this has rubbed off quite quickly to where they've already disappeared. Also, on my left earphone, the top popped OFF, so i had to use gorilla glue to put it back on and make it stay there. Otherwise, I am happy that I got iPod earphones from the non-apple company for A LOT cheaper.
[: Rating: Date: 2008-06-24 Oh my Gawd! Can these things tangle up anymore? I don't have an issue with the way the headphones sound, or fit in my ear. As far as earphones go they're pretty standard, so I don't have high expectations.
However, every time I wrap them around my iPod case, bundle them and set them aside, they become the most tangled mess I've ever had to deal with. I'm constantly untangling the dang things. What is that about? And they tangle up in ways I didn't know possible - loops, twists; I'm using fingernails to unravel them.
This is the pair that came with my iPod touch. I have since purchased another brand.
Rating: Date: 2008-06-04 The worst headphones I've ever owned These headphones hurt my ears every time I used them. The sound quality is very poor and they break easily. I had these for maybe 2 months before they broke and many people I know said that they had the same problem. Some broke within 3 weeks. NEVER BUY THESE HEADPHONES. Rating: Date: 2008-06-03 Lousy, lousy and lousy I agree with all the other reviewers here who say these headphones are the worst thing to come down the pike to accompany the neatest product ever invented. From the minute I used these headphones, they gave me massive earaches. They're way too big for my ears and the supposed rubber gasket around them helped not one bit. I subsequently bought a pair of Skullcandy headphones (which I also reviewed) and stuck these back in the box they came in. My Skullcandy phones broke recently, so now I'm back to these and the earaches, when I'm not picking up one side or the other because it has fallen out of my ear. They don't fit, period.
There should be a photo of these in any dictionary listing of "lousy product design." I've been a huge fan of Apple's products forever, but it irritates me that these headphones were included with a device costing $300. If that's not an affront to Apple's consumers, then I don't know what is. |
