Gotta have one if you're a Ben 10 fan, despite frills.
It makes a lot of sounds you hear on the show, but the morph-into sound is hard to activate. The pushing/popping center piece gets stuck. Other than the sounds and the internal dull light, it lacks frills, but is a good , basic toy with high quality materials.

My twin 7 year olds absolutely LOVE these watches. They play with them all the time! They are very hardy and don't need a battery change very often! My boys have had theirs for almost a year and I don't think I have changed the batteries but maybe once if even that.

My 3 yr old LOVES this toy. He has been asking for a Ben 10 watch ever since the movie came out. He watched the cartoon all the time, but it wasn't until the movie was made, that he started asking for one. He pretends he is the alien on the watch and fights off the pretend bad guys.

Overpriced
I bought this item for my son for Christmas and paid close to $40.00 on Amazon. The day before Christmas when strolling through the local walmart I found they had about 4 dozen of these on sale for $14.99. I felt like I really got taken to the cleaners by Amazon. Before you buy on line check your local stores.

As for the actual toy, one of the previous reviewers described it as an over priced Happy Meal item. That acurately describes it. It lights up, beeps and doesn't do very much else. Also the cheap plastic will break in no time.

My nephew's reaction was priceless. He was so happy he started screaming, running around and finally ran up to me for a hug. When I let go of him, he looked up at me and whispered thank you and wiped the tears from his eyes. He had no idea that this toy existed he only thought that the cartoon character had it. Now he has one too.
