intense reality!!!!
When I first saw this movie, I had to watch it over and over because I was blown away by the situation. This is based on a true story of an American caught in the revolution happening in Burma. I thought I knew a lot about the situation in Rangoon and the strict government controls over that once bustling country, but this movie taught me things I never even conceived to be happening. The viewer will be on the edge of his seat while Arquette's character must fight her way through the jungles to cross the border to safety before government controls lock her in a country where control is in the form of a gun.
