A LOT OF FUN
I just bought this toy for my brother 11 yrs. and I on thursday. We got them on sale at a small toy store for 4.99 each. Today we took them out to Golden Gate Park and couldn't believe how big the bubbles were. the package said that the bubbles can go up to 4ft. long but my longest string of bubbles was at least 6ft. everyone at the park loved it, it's a big crowd pleaser. My only wish is that the toy was a little more durable, my brother broke the top of his the part that locks the toy before the end of the day, but it still works. This toy is great for kids and the kids at hart like me. Rating:

Great bubble maker!
We bought this for our son who turned 5. I was amazed at how big the bubbles could get that this thing creates. Our son loved it and our older son tried it, likes it and wants one for himself. Make sure you have extra bubbles ready, the tank get's low quick. It's an inexpensive toy that anybody can use and have fun with. Rating:

Very Dissapointed 2 year old
I got this for my son last year because he loves bubbles ... It really looks cool because kids can play 3 muskateers or fencing games the bubbles go in the sheath and the stick comes out like a sword...Well it only made a few good bubbles and the rest of them just popped before reaching large size... Needless to say my son was very disappointed and so was I... I would not recommend spending the money on this item... Rating:

Big Bubbler Bonanza
This is a great toy! My one complaint with it though is that it does not take long to run out of the bubble mixture. If you are buying this as a gift for someone you might want to include an extra container of bubble mixture with the gift. Rating:

Fun for kids and adults
The Big Bubbler is the greatest bubble wand----we have had consistently huge bubbles with the top-of-the-line/expensive bubble solution, as well as, the cheapest $1.99 jugs. The only thing that didn't work at all for us was straight dish detergent (hey, we were desperate). My youngest toddler will chase the bubbles endlessly, and even a neighbor's preteen son couldn't resist chasing the large bubbles across our yard. I also like that I am playing WITH the kids when I make the bubbles for them vs. simply turning on a battery-operated machine and then standing back.
If I had to gripe, it would only be to say that I wish the top of the wand (the end that holds the bubble solution) could be stood on end. It is hard for the little ones to keep the top from spilling while waving the wand; it is also tough for them to get the wand back into the top to get more bubble solution.
We also go through a LOT of solution---I plan to buy a few large jugs of it to have it on hand. But, this seems like a minor inconvenience given how much fun we have all had watching the bubbles dance all over our yard. |
