How to Play The rules for playing BlongoBall are simple and easy to learn. Officially the BlonGoals should be 25 feet apart, but one reason the game is so popular with so many different groups is that the distance between goals can also be closer. In a therapy setting or at an elementary school for example, the distance may be significantly reduced. BlongoBalls are thrown by holding one ball in your hand and swinging it slowly back and forth underhanded. When ready, throw the BlongoBall at the opposite goal releasing so the BlongoBall flies with a backward rotation. Points are scored when the BlongoBall hangs from one of the horizontal bars of the BlonGoal. The game is played until one person or team reaches exactly 21 points. You may throw a BlongoBall and knock your opponent's BlongoBall off of a horizontal bar. This removes the corresponding points from your opponent's total and is a legitimate defensive strategy.

Stake it and get out of the way!
This game is fun, but potentially dangerous! These are actual golf balls joined by a short rope that you heave at the ladder frame, trying to wrap the rope around one of the rungs. You have to throw pretty hard, so make sure no one is in the way! Also, the force of the throw will probably knock the frame over, so stabilize it with yard "staples" and you'll be good to go.

BlongoBall
This is a very sturdy & well balanced set. I would recommend this brand over some of the others. Best ladderball or redneck golf set I've seen for the money.

family fun
Fun family game for the backyard, park or camping. Our 4 year old enjoys as well (though she stands a lot closer than we do). Only wish it came with more than 2 ball sets.

blongo ball is great fun for all ages
we took this on our last vacation and played it on the golf course at night when everybody was gone and on the beach. We finally found something that the whole family can play and enjoy

Lots of fun for all ages
Bought this after playing the same game by another manufacturer. The quality of this one is very superior to the other one. Our grandkids aged 4 to 6 love it, as do the the adults. I would definitely recommend it for all ages.
