Perfect addition for my generator
Installing this wheel kit was simple. My Blue Max 4,000 Watt generator not only works great, but this kit has made it much easier to transport without breaking one's back. If you move your genset around I stongly recommend this item. Rating:

Worked Well, Missing hardware
The instructions are worthless, but the installation was easy. Look at the diagram and everthing goes together well. We were missing a couple of washers from the hardware. Otherwise no problem. Took about 20 minutes to complete the installation with minimal tools. Rating:

Directions Useless. Parts Cheap & Missing. Poor QC
Don't even bother with the directions on this one. The picture is about the only useful piece of information. It is not even literate english. My kit did not come sealed from Homier distribution, not really a big deal. However, the ziplock bag with all the nuts/bolts did not have all the parts. Thankfully I had others that fit the threads.
The parts are VERY cheap so you have to be VERY careful. Even after installation, the handle warped itself due to cheap very thin gauge steel and a solid steel pin that holds it in place. This cause the hole for the pin to warp. It is junk metal, but it does the job.
For the price, it is the best out there. You need a little bit of technical ability for this one though... Rating:

Generator Wheel set
Due to the weight of the Blue Max Generator, the wheel kit is a must. Although the kit isn't well designed and the inflatable tires are amusing at best...It does it's job. With a little bit of patience the assembly will go together...not perfectly but functionally...A few pieces of the generator have to be taken apart and re-assembled. Just use common sense as the directions are sketchy. I give it 3 stars as it does work, even the inflatable tires. I downgraded it due to lack of ease of assembly and sketchy instructions. The entire assembly took me about 45 minutes. I had read other reviews on this product so I was aware of some of the issues so there were no surprises... |
