Bourne plays like the movie, Heat with a few Bourne hand to hand combat moves
I don't know if Bourne Conspiracy developers got confused with the movie, Heat because the game plays like Heat with a few Bourne scenes from the movie and a few repeating Bourne close combat moves thrown into it.

The game makes Jason Bourne very unlikeable character and only knows a few hand to hand fight moves over and over again. In the movie, Bourne is a thinker. In the game, he behaves like a psycho killer.

It is 100% point A to B. You cannot do anything else. Most illogical about the game is when it's timed escape with very limited time, Bourne loves to go into hand to hand fights than trying to run as fast as he can to escape.

Unless you like Bourne Identify too much, this game gets boring very fast because all the fighting are very repetitive with not creativity.

The Bourne Conspiracy
I thought this game would be completely original, It's basically like the movie Bourne Identity. I was expecting so much more from this game, It's worth renting but I would not advise buying.

The game was rushed during production

This could have been a great game. However, it was rushed during production. I am so glad I rented it. The fist fighting was awesome, but it was nothing like the commercials. The takedown moves are always the same, and you only use each special takedown once. (Kitchen sink, book, laptop, etc...) Unlike the commercials, switching from shooting (which is terrible due to bad aiming and poor auto lock.) to hand to hand combat is terrible. You never get a chance to shoot an enemy to weaken him before he jumps on you. You can then easily hit him twice, kick him, and then do a takedown on him that you have probably seen twenty to thirty times already.
The boss fights are stupid because a move that a real assassin would use to kill an enemy, such as hitting him over and over with a shovel, drowning him with a kitchen sink, or putting a botox shot in his head (You only do these once.)would leave his enemy out of action. However, these enemies can take hits like these abut ten times before they die.
Lastly, the game IS SHORT! you could probably beat the game in about two hours. This is bad because it takes about thity minutes for the game to install on the playstation. This game could have been incredable, but it was a short, arcade style game that live up to about half of its potential.
