The Battery was delivered quickly. I received a Cannon battery just as described , I chareged it up and it works great!

Battery pack is essential
I didn't think I really needed an extra battery pack. But, If found with an 8GB memory chip, I take more videos, and like to review my pictures often. So, last weekend half way through the air show with the Thunderbirds about to perform, I was very glad I had the extra battery with me.

Great Canon battery
This battery was purchased as a spare for Canon SD1100. Spare battery is a must have for a digital camera. Always carry a fully charged battery. This one will last 2 long days of vacation photos and is compact to carry. Charge one while the other is ready for picture taking.
Great price when purchased on line.

Genuine Canon battery
Buying this battery directly from Canon would have cost me $59.99 (item) + $11.99 (shipping) + $6.03 (tax) ~= $78! To get this from Amazon for $33 with free shipping is a steal!

I don't know what some of the earlier reviewers are talking about. I bought it new from AMAZON and it came in official Canon packaging. Perhaps they tried to buy from one of the used sellers and got ripped off.
