About Coleman The Coleman Company has been creating and innovating products for recreational outdoor use since W.C. Coleman started selling gasoline-powered lanterns in 1900. Inventor of the hugely popular fold-up camp stove, Coleman developed a plastic liner for his galvanized steel coolers in 1957--the birth of the modern cooler--and the company has been improving their utility and design ever since. The array of products that bear the Coleman name now includes just about everything you might need to work or play outdoors, from tents and sleeping bags to boats, backpacks, and furniture.
Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-06-25 Great air mattress The air mattress is very comfortable and easy to fill. You can close the valve without removing the air pump so you don't loose any air pressure and it keeps the mattress nice and firm. When stacked it is very comfortable for a single person. The only drawback is the zipper that keeps the two mattresses together as a king size mattress. It does keeps them stuck together, but they do space apart somewhat. As is spaces apart you are drawn to that part of the mattress. I had to literally move my kids out of the crevase several times a night. However, the mattress was comfortable and easy to take down and roll up in it's carrying bag. Rating: Date: 2008-06-05 versatile airbed We purchased this for some car camping we plan to do this summer. The mattress seems well made and sturdy. The two halves can be independently filled and separated completely. So one person can move around without sending the other one flying.
We will see how well it holds up in the field but I am optimistic. I also purchased the rechargeable Coleman air pump which is noisy as hell but makes filling and deflating the airbed a minute job. Rating: Date: 2008-05-25 Great buy! Don't bother with a more expensive air mattress! This one is a great buy and lasts just as long, maybe even longer. We use this one several times a week and it holds up great. You can also use it as two separate mattresses so you're getting 2 for the price of 1. Unlike some of the others, you don't need to plug in the air pump since it uses 4 D batteries. Rating: Date: 2008-05-07 Sleeping Well From NYC. If you need an airbed - Buy this one! Very very comfortable indeed and a great nights sleep was had. Rating: Date: 2008-04-21 Excellent Product We have only used this bed one time, but it performed beautifully, was comfortable, easy to inflate (with a pump)and easy to deflate. We would buy this product again. |
