Another excellent book in the series!
Oh, how I am loving this series! The action, in or out of the bedroom, is incredible! You see the scenes as Frank wrote them, and they stick with you, long after the book is finished, LOL!

Damien is the perfect hero. Strong, he refuses to believe he's sulking when he actually is and turns it into anger and a temper tantrum instead.

Syreena is stronger, physically and mentally, than most believed her to be. I loved how she grew even more, and how she came around to Damien's way of thinking, all on her own. It was high time she made decisions for herself. She learned how, the hard way.

The one scene between Damien and Syreena kept me glued, word for word, paragraph for paragraph, page for page. I love that scene - the violence of it, the erotic sensuality of it. Terrific!

Meanwhile, the enemy is getting stronger and bolder, and I can't wait until she's brought down. Ruth may be really intelligent and savvy, but her way of thinking is screwed, and she is one enemy that will have to be defeated - there is no other alternative.

Jasmine, even if she is Damien's `right-hand-man', angered me to no end. I think Syreena and she need a good round between the two of them. But then, it's to be expected. I think anyone would have reacted the same way as Jasmine, especially after having been with Damien for over 5 hundred years. While Syreena still feels jealousy when Damien and Jasmine are together, she doesn't mull over it. Whereas Jasmine is completely opposite in that way of thinking. Meanwhile, Syreena and Jasmine are more alike than they realize, I think.

I can't wait for Noah's book, which is supposed to be out in September `08! Two months won't have gone by fast enough!

Loved this book as I have those previous in the series. Ms. Frank's words flow well with barely a stutter. I intend to continue purchasing subsequent books by this author.

Great, But Not The Best
I have loved the Nightwalker series. I have enjoyed a break from all the vampire books I read. I like the "take" on the Demons and have loved each of the men in the series. When I read Damien I kind of thought, oh, another Vampire story. I was pleased to see many of the previous characters, even Windsong, but would like more of the Demon stories. This book held my interest and I did enjoy it, but I hope the author takes us back to the Demon stories.

YES! Damien is a Great Addition
I confess that I had a "thing" for Elijah and did not think the "yum" factor could ever be equaled. I was wrong. Damien and Syreena are a couple that keeps you turning the pages. Jacki Frank does an incredible job of world making and moving the Nightwalkers' story along while writing a wonderful and excitng love story. I appreciate her style and the intelligence she brings to her characters and story line. I cannot overstate my joy that she keeps the actions and personalities of the characters consistent from book to book, but expands the back story and introduces new characters and brings in all the previous characters without doing it at the expense of the current protagonists.

As long as she continues this, I will buy her books. She is also very connected to her readers and, unlike some authors who have become legends in their own minds, actually responds in person when you write to her.

Can't wait for the next one!

A Great read
I think J. Frank has created a well written series for this genre. I found it had solid details, well developed characters and an engaging plot. You also have the added bonus of keeping up with the characters from the other novels. I 'm eagerly looking forward to Noah's story.
