It Ain't Right...Great Music Overshadowed...
...By other great music.

David Gilmour should stop playing Floyd songs(I'll pause while all the Floyd fans' heads explode :) )

and Barrett songs, too(smaller head count but perhaps more rabid :) )

at the expense of his own...There, I said it.

As another reviewer pointed out: where are the songs from his other albums? Some of my favorite songs are on those albums.

I suppose one would have to be near Grinch-like to put on a tour and not play Floyd tunes when faced with a sea of wide-eyed Floyd fans.

To bypass the whole Tour setlist catering process, he should just do a 'David Gilmour Live in his back yard' ala PF at Pompei.

PS:This is a really good DVD :) all the MTV wannabe ADD video editors 3-cuts-a-second-should-come-with-motion-sickness-pills should take note

Nothing About Pink Floyd That I Dislike...
...and this concert is no exception. I saw this on HiDef satellite and it was stunning. The video and audio are clear and have deep, spatial sound. The guest appearances are a welcome bonus and prove that PF's music is without boundaries. Highly recommended disc for fans of live shows and PF in general. DG remains one of the best, if not overlooked, guitar players in our time and his focus and ability never fade - as readily apparent in the close ups and solo shots during this concert. Get this DVD people, in today's 'flavor of the week' mentality, this type of contribution to musical art and level of available talent will soon not be so easy to see or hear...

David Gimour is alive & well.
I recently purchased this DVD & have watched/listened to it a few times now. At first I didn't think much of his new mat'l. but have grown to really enjoy it. Having enjoyed his Pink Floyd work for years I'm just tickled pink that he's still generating new works of his art.
The service I recieved from Amazon was typically professional & I will continue to use them as my primary mail order music house.

Pink Floyd Legendary Music
I have reviewed many Pink Floyd albums (CD's & DVD's), none of which have ever been a disappointment. This group, with lead performer, David Gilmore, is the best of the best. David Gilmore mesmerizes the audiance with his picking and singing talent that is second to none. I have sat in awe and watched him and his group perform.

If you love Pink Floyd as I do, you won't want to miss out on this special event that brings you lasting music enjoyment over the years. I highly recommend this DVD to all of the David Gilmore and Pink Floyd fans.

Remember That Night
Being a Pink Floyd fan for 40 years I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this 2 DVD set. Of course, it would have been nice if the whole band was together but listening to some of the old songs by David Gilmour, Richard Wright and others was very special.
