America’s favorite boy band - Brian, Will, Q, Mike, and Robert are back for another season of music, drama, and Diddy on MTV’s hit reality series, "Making The Band 4". The new group, hand-picked by Diddy and collectively known as DAY26, is reunited with surprise solo winner, Donnie, to begin their journey into the music industry. But there’s a new twist…This time around platinum recording artists and winners of Making The Band 3, Danity Kane, join the guys in the same house to begin working on their respective albums. This season features a competition to see which group will finish their album first plus all the drama that Making The Band fans have come to expect: Diddy’s infamous challenges, bitter feuds, and more!

More than anything else, this season focuses on the musical development of DAY26. Their journey kicks off with the fresh new single, "Got Me Going," produced by studio heavyhitter, Mario Winans. In addition to the aforementioned track, the collection features production from The Runners (T.I., Chris Brown, Rick Ross), Jim Bean, Grammy Award-winner Adonis (Diddy, Usher, Danity Kane), and multiple Grammy Award-winner Bryan Michael Cox (Usher, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey), featured on Making The Band helming the quintet’s debut single, "Exclusive (No Excuses)."

4 1/2 Stars!!! 112 the New Generation
I believe that Q and Mike were also the names of 2 of the 112 boy band members (from my jr. high/high school years)...Same flavor...different generation. Certainly my new "Guilty Pleasure".

My Fave's on the album:
Got me Goin'
What is Feels like
Don't Fight This Feeling
Since You've Been Gone

Day 26 - Much more than I expected
Listening to the CD was a suprisingly fantastic experience! I didn't expect to like it (remember Da'Band?), much less LOVE it! This is a grown-up R&B record and I don't FF through any of the songs! It reminds me of the sensuous R&B from the '90s (think New Edition w/Johnny Gill, After 7, etc.). I think about love when I listen to this - real love, passion, sensuousness. Certainly better than the cheapened, x-rated version of R&B that has cropped up over the past few years. This CD is no gimmick and all music. Hats off to Diddy & the guys!!

Day 26
I loved the show but I'm not happy with the CD. All of the songs sound the same and are very boring.

I LOVE IT!
I was quite a fan of Making the Band 4 so I might be a bit partial, but I really like this album. It's got a good mixture of slow and up-tempo songs. I love the slow songs especially, their voices are beautiful!! I'm looking forward to the next album! Hope they come over to the UK soon too! Love 4 u Day 26!

Album Review: Day 26.. Diddy Got It Right This Time
On the whole I like Puffy but his record as far as making real stars hasn't been so good as of late, well with that whole "The Band" debacle. Diddy has always been a great judge of talent but I was starting to think he had lost the magic. Then I saw MTB4 and while impressed I still wasn't sure.

Then I heard the album. I went out and picked it up on the day it dropped and it has been in my car ever since. I mean this is a HOT album. When it comes to music, especially a group I am always skeptical and combine that with the TV show and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

The album opens up with a sexy joint called "I'm the reason", a ballad letting a special lady know exactly why she is feeling the way she is feeling. Next, is the smash single "Got Me Going". From there the album delivers track after track of just smoothness. I have to say I listen to this CD straight through but my favorite track is number 10 "Since You've Been Gone". Man , on that one there them boys don't just sing, they sang. It's a song about someone that you cared about leaving, all I know is that joint is just hot.

The only bad thing about the album is that it is mostly Robert and Brian on a lot of the tracks. You really hear very little from Mike while Q and Willie do make their presence felt when they get the chance. I would have liked to see more from the other members but I understand on a debut album you have to go with what you know will sell and this one should sell because its that good, but next time I do want to see more vocal variety.

On a whole this was just a brilliant album. I know a lot of you out there have been skeptical about picking up this album, but I am telling you right now pick it up, you
