  - Child Silencer. Or an effective child-silencing puzzle, anyway.
- This clever thingy is a 10-1/4" long x 3-1/2" dia clear plastic tube full of plastic sprinkles (Jimmies, for those of you on the East Coast) with (47) slightly larger trinkets (a bell, pearl, baseball, penny, etc.) lost among them.
- The silent child sits in the back seat and turns the tube around and around while trying to find them and checking them off the enclosed list (you'll get a 50-sheet pad of them) and the next thing you know you're there yet.
- And yes, the octagonal ends are securely glued on so they can't open it and dump the sprinkles all over, the diabolical little rugrats. Also strangely compelling for fully grown adults. At least around here.

Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-06-20 Fun for all ages Bought this for my grandson's 8th birthday & he loved it. Challenging & fun for any age. He even said, "This will be fun for the car!" It's a game you can play over & over. Highly recommended. Rating: Date: 2008-04-06 I like it, but it didn't keep my 6 year old interested I bought this for my 6 year old, but he wasn't nearly as interested in it as I was. I think it's fun, so this may be better for older children or adults. It was dropped and the top cracked, but not the part where the stuff inside can come out, so it's okay. I bought it to have in the car for long trips. It's a little pricey for what it is. You could fill a jar with sand and throw in some small items from your home...but, of course, the kids could always open the jar and spill everything...so this is probably better. Rating: Date: 2008-03-02 Who doesnt want an adventure in a container I had never heard of this before, and probably never would have until my family and I went to be audience members of The View. This game, among a few other toys, were given to the audience. Whoopi said it was one of her favorites and that if you give this to your kids or anyone, you wouldnt hear a word out of them because it can really absorb you. I havent spent much time on it yet but I did find a few things, and i was all excited like I was a little kid again, ha. I have yet to find that darn penny though! I didnt know it was $20 bucks, Honestly, I wouldnt have bought it on my own. But if you are really into this kind of stuff, I suggest yo try this. Its portable and can be taken anywhere and sure, its really great for younger kids like when your going on a roadtrip or in an airplane. Its also great because it really makes you think and look, and strengthen your mind and helps you to be more aware and alert. Rating: Date: 2008-01-18 I-Spy in 3-D Great toy for all ages... it is a little difficult for very young children (under 5) to know what they are looking for on the key..but that doesnt stop them from looking and telling you all they see! Rating: Date: 2008-01-07 Everyone had a good time looking for items!! I brought two games to Christmas, the original and kids and everyone wanted to play them. The kids played for hours. And everyone wanted one for either going skiing or for there classroom. Great entertainment, we all liked these games. |
