Great High Chair Alternative
I purchased the Rainforest version of this chair for our second home. I love it and would absolutely recommend it.
My daughter loves to play with the toys and they keep her entertained while I am prepping her food. We have taken it with us to restaurants and it is super easy to fold and take with you. It's also very easy to wipe clean - no creases or other messy spots and it's not so darn big that it can't fit in the dishwasher!
At home we have the Chicco Polly and I would definitely recommend this seat to a new mom over that one - not to mention it is so much less expensive. Rating:

A perfect present
I bought this for my 1 year old nephew and he actually loves it. He usually doesn't stay still, but loves sitting in the seat and playing with the "rain forest creatures". My sister likes feeding him in it too:-). Rating:

Instead of a highchair
We received these booster chairs as gifts (we have twins) and used them instead of highchairs in our home. Before the babies were old enough to sit up, we were shown by an occupational therapist how to prop them up with blankets to sit in these chairs. When we went on trips we just took them with us - all the way cross-country once! It helped the children feel more comfortable and helped them focus on eating. We strapped them to chairs everywhere and even used them to keep the kids in place for picnic eating at a reststop. In situations like this we could just snap the lid on a dirty tray and deal with cleanup at our destination.
My twins are 3.5 now and we keep one available strapped to a chair for time outs and for when my son wants a booster at the table. They've been invaluable, both with the tray and and as a booster chair at the table.
Another nice thing is that when my kids got to sit in high chairs, it was a treat for them and they were more likely to behave and be willing to sit in high chairs at restaurants or my mother's house. Rating:

Excellent for traveling!
We needed something that would work for a long visit out of town for our 10 month old baby girl. We were going to be traveling between multiple houses and didn't want to have to drag a large high chair around with us. We got this booster and it was awesome. Exactly what we needed. It worked with multiple types of chairs and we were able to adjust the straps to tighten the base against the back of the chair. Awesome for short term use while traveling. |
