Good quality, price, and looks but...
Bought these because of the color and the price. They look great and feel comfortable at first but I've had some of the same problems described by another reviewer. I have average size feet and I normally don't have problems with shoes I buy online so I'll guess that there's something wrong with the shoe itself. The sides are definitely too high at the ankles.It fits well up front but then it gets almost a full size bigger towards the heel and it's hard to keep the shoe on when walking fast. I tried wearing thicker socks and it was too tight in the toe area so I bought some insoles. They didn't help either. I really like this shoe so I haven't given up yet. I'll continue experimenting with other insoles. I'll post here if I find the right one.

Nice shoes, great buy
I am difficut to fit in a loafer, and wasn't surprised when I had some problems with these. Usually, I find loafers will be loose in the heel and the vamp will be too short and not snug enough to hold to shoe on my foot securely. These shoes will fit me with thick socks comfortably enough, but I found the toe box a bit narrower than it should have been. The sides are a bit too high at the ankles and tend to rub a bit. I have some Rockport loafers that have a double elastic gore that keeps my feet in the shoes. I wonder why other manufacturers don't employ this feature more often. The substantial soles are supple and of high quality leather. The insoles are adequately padded, even for my tender feet. The uppers are nicely finished with a satin gloss. I ordered the burgundy and they are a little more brown that expected but still very attractive with either brown, olive, blue or gray/black slacks. These were definitely first quality and a very good value as have been other Florsheim products I've owned. These are not the type of shoes that are disposable; they are worth a tri[p to the shoe repairman. The fit issues cited aren't enough to make me want to return the shoes nor would they be a problem for most people with more normally-proporrtioned feet. With some wear, they will stretch a bit and probably feel much better on my feet
