Perfect and Necessary.
I've tried using a regular stop watch, which is awkward to the point of unusable. And I've tried using a partner, who's schedule never lines up.
The Gym boss has every function you would need for HIIT and none you don't. It is durable, quickly shipped, and well designed. I am a fan. Rating:

The Best Coach
My Gymboss is the best 'coach'for my daily walking/jogging workout. I set the first timer for 3 min and the second timer for 1 minute. I choose to be notified by the beep because I am outside and it's easier to hear. My Gymboss even keeps track of how many times my 3:1 intervals rotated. This makes it easy for me to measure my walking/jogging in any neighborhood - I just do 4- 3:1 intervals and I've completed a little over a mile. I love my little 'coach'. Rating:

Great little find
I bought the Gymboss after hearing about it at the gym. I really like it. It get's to be a pain to constantly watch a stopwatch for my intervals. The Gymboss clips on the waistband out of the way and out of sight. Easy to set up and easy to use. The only drawback might be that the vibrate function seems kind of weak. I would (and do) recommend the Gymboss to other's. Rating:

A Handy Piece of Equipment
My Gymboss arrived very quickly. It does everything I would want a personal timer to do, and has helped me streamline and make my workouts more efficient. The time can be adjusted to customize your workouts, and the displays are very helpful. In my opinion, it works much better than the Everlast Personal Boxing Timer which has not held up well in my experience. (I've gone through 2 of them in a short period of time)
I will probably purchase another Gymboss for our karate school. Rating:

Gymboss is an excellent product for anyone doing interval work
The Gymboss is very helpful when doing multiple intervals. I find it especially useful when doing my kettlebell cardio workout of 50 sets of 15 seconds on and 15 seconds off. I no longer have to watch a clock or push a restart button, just wait for the beep and keep on going! Great Product! Highly recommend! |
