Henckels Flatware Tray I love this!! It is so clean and nice looking and fit all of my Crate and Barrel flatware pack. I would recommend buying a few other trays to hold random things like chopsticks or children's utensils. Rating: Date: 2008-03-11 J.A. Henckels International Flatware Tray My stupidity! I should have read the description more closely. What appears to be a tray covered in a light pink type felt is actually a light colored wood. It is well made and I have no complaints. I might try and put felt in the bottom and "dress it up" even further. Rating: Date: 2008-02-28 Very attractive This tray works very well and is far more attractive than a typical plastic bin. The only drawback, which is obvious from the picture, is that it can not hold larger items such as spatulas, turners, slotted spoons etc.
Its very well made. Rating: Date: 2008-02-14 nice natural look Very homespun type of look, nice upgrade from plastic without having to go hi-tech metal. Rating: Date: 2008-02-12 Good value! (quality + price) I am happy with my purchase of the J.A. Henckels International Flatware Tray which was purchased for $12.99. It is good quality, good construction and ultimately, good value. Future purchasers will want to note the following:
1) remember to check the size of the tray with the drawer - too small or too large AND too deep or too shallow
2) if you have really long, thin silverware, it may be difficult to fit the utensils in the slots. We had to put the knives in the end slot because the center slots are too short.
3) I wish J.A. Henckels made another tray for kitchen gadegets (pizza cutter, cork screw, corn cob holders, appetizer forks/knives, etc.). The other product I considered was Moutain Woods which offered both a silverware tray and gadget tray. In the end, I chose J.A. Henkels tray because of the better price, brand name and free shipping.
