Liking Jordin Sparks, American Idol's season six winner, comes instinctively. How many 17-year-olds are as self-possessed, as big-smiling, as committed to having a good time and keeping it real? Probably none. Liking Sparks' music has been a different story for fans anticipating her debut CD, though. Her gut-busting Idol performance of "I (Who Have Nothing)" was possibly her only prime-time goosebump generator, yet she's seen an instant progression to diva-dom, as chronicled in reports that found her heading into the studio alongside pop/R&B heavy-hitters Bloodshy, Avant, the Underdogs, and others. Was it a little soon for the relatively green Sparks to be throwing off such big-league, beat-heavy sparks? Well, not hardly, it turns out. The ballads here--songs like "Next To You" and "Just For the Record"--reach out at times with overeager sincerity (forgivable!), but the funkier numbers--"Young and In Love" and the Prince-flecked "Shy Boy," especially--slam home her positives. Jordin may still be a juvie, but she's a bona fide pop star. She earns her props as convincingly here as she did on TV. --Tammy La Gorce

How can I breath with no air?
My husband bought this CD because he liked the song No Air. He said that is how he feels without me. There are other great songs on this CD! Great for Kids, Teens and Adults like us.

Oustanding !!.
This is a very solid album for her first realese. The colabo's are good! and she definately can sing!!!. Looking forward to her sophmore album!.

I got this Cd pretty fast and I love the CD it has Great songs on it. I got it for one Song and I got Surprised I love them all.

No Air
I like the work done on the track, NO Air, It shows us that a simple subject(title) can come up with some excellent piece of music. Well done to Jordin and Chris this could be a good direction to break through. Keep up with the good work. I can't stop listening to the song, otherwise I can't breath, No air..... No air....!!!!!

Sparks Fly with Jordin!
This is an amazing debut album. For a just-turned 18-year-old, Jordin has the vocal abilities of a honed professional. This album is so versatile in styles of song and Jordin can hit notes at every end of the music spectrum and send chills up and down your spine. She is an amazing talent! Looking forward to more from this winner! Fantastic job, Jordin Sparks! Keep the music coming....
