The best USB Serial adapter
I have tried others. Some work, some don't. This one is a solid performer. It always works under on any platform. This is actually my second purchase and this time I got two.

Very well supported by drivers
I ordered this item because it said it supported OSX, and I have an old tablet (a Wacom Artz II 12") that I wanted to use with Table Magic (open source tablet drivers for old Wacom tablets on OSX). I had a different brand/model of adapter for my older GPS, and that worked in a very limited way in Windows, but I could not get that older device to work with this tablet on Windows, Linux, OR OSX.

With this device, I was able to get the tablet working with all three!

BASIC stamp 2.0
It should be noted that this product is one of the only products that will allow one to program a Parallax BASIC stamp micro-processor from a Mac. So buy it if you have a BASIC stamp and a mac!

It just plain works!
I've used various Keyspan usb adapters for several years and I must say they just work. It works great with all of my computers, even my macbook pro works great with it.

Adapter rocks!
I used this adapter with a serial Blood Glucose meter. My computer only had USB ports. The software that came with it installed without a hitch and I have VISTA Ultimate on my PC. The software that came with the blood glucose meter was able to connect with the serial adapter and then with the USB port to access the data in the meter. It all went without any difficulties. I would really recommend this product!
