Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-07-07 Thank goodness for reviews! I am so glad I read reviews first!. I had my heart set on the Cuisinart. After reading all the reviews, I decided to go for the Kitchenaid. This was a much obsessed over birthday present. Everything everyone has said is true! It is remarkably quiet, easy to use, easy to clean & I love that the accessories have a storage box included. It feels very heavy duty & well made. I also know from dealing with Kitchenaid in the past, they are an excellent customer service company. When I had something go wrong with my stand mixer, they sent out a replacement immediately & shipped the other one back with no problems. I was very impressed with how easy it was. I look forward to many years of fun with this machine. Rating: Date: 2008-07-04 Wonderful purchase! I received this item yesterday and am already loving it. Whipped up bread dough for French bread in about 2 minutes - literally! Motor is very quiet and the unit is sturdy. Another thing worth mentioning is that this processor is very attractive and professional-looking - I am making room for it to stay on my counter rather than putting it away between uses. If you are looking around and researching processors, stop your search here and buy this one...I don't think you will regret it! Rating: Date: 2008-06-24 KitchenAid Food Processor I love my KitchenAid Food Processor! It is so quiet and smooth. The added feature of the mini food processor incorporated in it is great!
I use it more because there are only two of us. So when I need a big job done I have the 12-cup feature too. It is a great and innovative idea from KitchenAid. Also, I received my product very promptly and I sent in for my rebate and it was received fast. So all-in-all, I am very pleased! Thank you, Amazon, love your site! Rating: Date: 2008-06-24 great product I got this for my friend's mom, as I already got the same one for myself for almost 4 years now. This food processor save a huge of time while making my son's food while he was a baby and right now I use this from making pizza dough, slicing vegetables or just simple making mash potatoes. Love it, fast, durable and what else I can say, good buy :) Rating: Date: 2008-06-23 Not for liquids....but fantastic for everything else! We bought the Kitchenaid food processor after a lot of research, and after seeing what a great deal was offered with a rebate. We have put everything possible into it and it does a fantastic job with everything....well, almost. Our only hesitation was several reviews that stated an issue with liquids leaking. Thinking we had to be smarter, and using the 12 cup bowl, we attempted to pulse up some eggs with rosemary and cooked bacon. All seemed well until the egg got into the upper part and started leaking. It also leaked in the center where the blade is placed. We came to the conclusion that the blender was for liquids, and the processor is for semi- to full solids. This was somewhat of a dissapointment since this means dirtying two appliances, but given what it CAN do I don't regret the purchase at all. I have done everything from whole raw carrots to mashed potatoes in this and they have all been perfection. I was especially impressed with the grater. It grated soft colby cheese like a dream...no more skinned knuckles for the hubby. A great buy...just don't use it for liquids. |
