A great set of headphones
I am loving these headphones. It is a real pleasure to listen to music on them. When I listen to music using these headphones, I feel like my headphones have a subwoofer. That is, they serve the whole range of sound, not just the high end. A bass guitar shouldn't just be a low note, it has a certain physicality to it, and these headphones capture that.
At the same time that the bass is powerful, all the rest of the sound is really natural and fully realized as well. You might hear a small sound in a movie and wonder if the sound was real or if it came from the headphones.
I think these headphones sound fantastic. Some experts might know of better sounding headphones, but I'm willing to bet that they cost more. For example, the PortaPros are the 2008 editor's choice at CNET, and their reviewer was astonished at how great they sound.
The one sonic downside is, that they expose some flaws of lower quality mp3s. The files still sound great, but you can tell how crisp they might been if they were better encoded -- kind of like how people sound different on an old telephone as opposed to in person: on the telephone they might come through more clearly, but they don't have a whole lot of the bass of the sound. The telephone is like the cheap ear buds, and the in person is like the PortaPros.
These are very comfortable headphones, even wearing glasses, because the design takes a bit of the pressure off the ears, and puts it on the temples. That means your ear isn't pushed into your glasses as much as otherwise.
Overall, these headphones are great for people who don't have a ton of money and want to try high-fidelity sound at an entry level price. They're pretty leaky, so I wouldn't wear them around town and make everybody listen to my music. But, in my apartment, they are a great substitute for the full stereo when I want to crank up the volume and I don't want to annoy the neighbors. Rating:

Best phones for the money and more
By far these headphones are the best pair for under $100. I went through a pair of Sony's and the Sennheiser P-200 before getting these and they sound as good as everyone says. My only beef with these is the cheesy hook system for collapsing them. It works, yes, but the hook and it's mate on the other side hit the tops of my ears and annoy me! I'm really tempted to take some metal snips and cut them off, but than I'd had sharp metal potentially and that could be worse.
Even with that little problem, I give 5+ for these and will probably buy a second pair. Rating:

Simply the best...
I've had headphones on my ears since I was 5. Tried many different kinds and know what quality sound should be. Koss are simply the best. No wonder this model has been made for over two deades Rating:

Best headphones for the price!
These are one of the best headphones that can be bought for the money!
PROS
- Great sound, I listen to Rock and Pop mp3 music mainly, and that sounds great! All friends who are accustomed to junk earphones that come with the iPods are just amazed when they listen through this!
- Comfort! You just don't feel them on your head after some time.
- Lifetime Warranty! I bought them at Amazon in 2004. Was having some troubles with one earpiece not working properly, and all the foams were gone. I got them repaired absolutely free (just paying the shipping costs), and that too in India! They are like new now.
- Price! Bought them for $35 at amazon.
- Portability is decent. They fold and don't take much space.
CONS
- Sound leaks. I use them at office, and cubicle mates sometimes tell me to lower the volume
- Looks, as others have said, they definitely look awkward.
Overall, unless you want earbuds/noise cancelling phones/audiophile quality, you cannot go wrong with these. Rating:

VERY NICE PAIR OF PORTABLE HEAD PHONES, THOUGH WEARING THEM FOR EXTENDED PERIODS IS UNCOMFORTABLE DUE TO ITS TIGHTNESS AROUND THE EARS. BUT VERY GOOD SOUND FOR THE $.
