Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-06-19 The Best Travel Clothesline I have used this travel clothesline for over twenty years; it is unquestionably the best of the breed. Simple twisted-pair lines (or fabric-covered ones) don't grip heavy/wet clothes sufficiently; lines with suction cups don't attach to anything but very smooth surfaces (and can't be depended on to manage much weight either).
You don't need clips, hooks, or carabiners to attach this line to rings, poles, etc. You can easily attach the first end by simply passing the line through its own loop. You attach the other end (when similarly necessary) by passing the end of the loop through its side, then inserting some straight/rigid object (a pen, a spoon, etc.) to stop the end from pulling back through. Simple.
Did you know that you can pack these with your medical supplies as well? They make ideal tourniquets.
You do need to replace them every dozen years or so, as eventually the latex rubber will decay. Rating: Date: 2008-05-25 Not just for inside anymore. I bought 3 lines, hooked them together and strung them between 2 trees, 21' across in back yard. (We decided to go greener and stop using the electric dryer unless absolutely necesssary.) Works like a charm with one exception - I needed a center pole (sunk into the ground) to reduce the amoun of sag in the middle. What I like most about it is NO CLOTHES PINS. Also, I can just take it down when done and only hook it up when needed. Works even for heavy items (sheets, towels, etc.) as long as I put them near the trees for support. Love the product. Rating: Date: 2008-04-20 Best Travel Laundry Line The flexoline was sturdy, lightweight, easy to use and holds on to clothing so that you do not need clothes pins. Rating: Date: 2008-03-11 So easy to use! This is the most practical travel clothesline I have owned. It eliminates the need for clothespins. It is so compact and takes up very little space when packed. The fact that it stretches is another plus. Rating: Date: 2007-07-09 Overall i like it I am not really sure that for me this would work better than just some string , or twine, or rope etc. However it works as it says it does. I would prefer it be longer, even though it can stretch up to 7ft i dont neccesarily want to have to have that force being put on things i might find available.
