My boys just had their 3rd birthday and received A LOT of gifts, but the cash register is the only one they will play with! They can now say each coin and are counting to ten. They love using the creit card, scanner, and change bank. I will say when they push the open button the drawer comes out way too fast and throws the coins, but overall we are so happy! Rating: Date: 2008-06-09 fun toy, but can be picky My two young daughters really enjoy this register. It has some great features like the credit card and coupon discount card, which are lots of fun for the kids. The money looks like real money and it helps kids learn about making change and counting money. My only beef with it is that sometimes the register acts up and sticks and has to be completely reset. So it sort of has to be handled with care. Rating: Date: 2008-04-30 Can't be beat!! A must have for every child! I bought this for my 6 yr old daughter. She had been wanting a cash register for a while and after viewing other cash registers and seeing how cheaply they were made. I decided on this one because of it's excellent reviews. And I was NOT disappointed!! My daughter loves it. Her little sister (4 yr old) and their cousin (11 yr old) all loved it. It is built very well and the teaching games are great, plus the fact that they still can pretend play with it. I would recommend this for any child from age 3-11 or so. Rating: Date: 2008-03-25 Educational cash register My grand daughter who is 4 l/2 loves this cash register and plays with it a lot. I'm sure she will find it even more educational as she gets older. She has lots of fun "shopping" in her basket and scanning and "making change". Great gift Rating: Date: 2008-03-25 Fun. Durable. Educational. Excellent. This is a great product all the way around. It is way more functional than I thought it would be...it works like the real deal, and has much more educational value than I anticipated. It's very durable (except for maybe the scale). My 4 yr old daughter received it for Christmas and has spent many hours with it. I can see her using this for several years as she hasn't even started to figure out all that it does yet. I've seen other cash registers in the store, and none come close to this one. I'm so glad I got this over the "Princess" unit. |
