Nice, but not what I was looking for
This is a nice mouse at a good price, but I can't use it because of my arthritis. I thought from the picture online that it would be shaped differently than it is, but it has that raised hump in the middle that makes my hand ache. Didn't return it because the shipping would have cost as much as I paid for the mouse! I found a Kensington mouse on Amazon that is perfect for me. I will just keep this Logitech in case someone else in the family needs a replacement mouse.

Logitech....brand matters
No doubt Logitech mice and keyboards are best. This basic mouse is no exception. I have been using it for 2 years now and have used it on different surfaces and it still works like a new mouse. Great sensitivity and durability! You can trust Logitech blindly when it comes to mouse and keyboards. Highly recommended.

Great mouse for less money
I have searched for a good/useable but also unexpensive mouse compatible with a Mac for a couple of hours on Amazon and finally opted for this Logitech mouse. It was a good buy, it works just fine on most surfaces I tried it on. Probably not for hardcore gamers but it is perfectly good enough for playing Diablo for example. It is a classical design and if someone - as me - got used to the classical mouse shape he/she will find it quite ergonomical. Logitech builds nice and dependable mice.

Mouse Pilfered From New PC Box!
No complaints about this mouse...It's just a basic mouse, and it works fine.

Just something weird about the packaging. It comes sealed in a bag which is labeled in several different languages, "For sale with a new PC only." There's a sticker over the bag that says the same thing.

It seems like someone at Amazon raided a PC box, stuffed the mouse in a bubble mailer, and sent it to me.

I emailed twice and even spoke with Customer Service. They assured me that this is a legitimate product.

Five stars for the product; three stars for the shady packaging...Four stars overall.
