It's a toss up as to who loves this toy most!
My son received this for his 2nd birthday a few months ago, because of his intrest in it at a local children's museum. All I can say is that I'm uncertain who loves it more, him or his parents! It certainly sparks creative thinking as we try to outdo each other in our creations! I didn't realize that I had it in MYSELF to be so creative. This toy just brings it out of you. I swear I find myself playing with it for long periods of time when I'm actually just supposed to be putting it away! It's quite peaceful actually! The mathmatical concepts it's already teaching my son make it priceless as well! He's learning spacial reasoning, critical thinking (will this structure hold if I...) as well as shapes, colors and creativity.

If you are like me, I faithfully read all the reviews before purchasing an item and went with others suggestions and purchased the clear tiles. Personally I like the clear tiles! The uses seem to be endless. I must add that although it is a large monetary investment, I feel it is wiser to purchase the set of 100 as 32 simply isn't enough. This toy will certainly span the ages, thus worth the investment.

GREAT PRODUCT
This toy is fantastic!! The only thing that could improve upon it would be to make a set that has diffent size squares (large ones and smaller sizes) so that structures could be sturdier. Other than that--this product is simply great! My son and daughter play with it every day and make garages, churches, castles,---you name it! Worth every penny!

magna-tiles--great!!!
Great for 3 yrs. + imagination and creative thinking!!! A must have! A little expensive, however worth it because this is great for multiple ages beginning with 3 for basic building up to 8-9 for spacial and creative thinking.

Clear Magna-Tiles great, but get enough.
My son loved it in preschool and was excited to receive it as a Christmas gift this year. He recognized it right away, tore open the box, and began to create. His only disapointment a couple days later is there were not more. I was unable to find the 100 piece of the clear tiles, only the opaque. That really would have been a better number for the set, 32 just isn't quite enough. I wanted the clear because I thought he would like to be able to see the items he built around (cars, dinosaur figures, etc.) I was right on that part. I also found some neat science links online for color experiments using these clear tiles. My older daughter and I will be doing them soon. We will be purchasing the 100 piece set for his birthday or another one of the 32 if we are unable to get our hands on the 100.

These are AWESOME!
My daughters daycare had these and all of the kids just LOVE THEM! I couldn't get her to leave daycare when I'd pick her up, so I decided I'd get her a set for at home for her 3rd b'day. She was so excited. Her b'day was a month ago and she plays with these every single night! These were $70.00 through where her daycare bought them, Amazon had a great price. There are others out there, but I would recommend these, they are very durable and FUN!
