The pin attaches to the lock so it can't be removed without one of the two included keys. A stainless steel body and solid brass cylinder core resist corrosion for smooth operation and optimal security. And, an attached, plastic lock cover keeps moisture and road debris out of the keyhole for added protection. Rusted on
After only 4 months, the lock part is rusted on the pin and I can't get it off. Also the key barely fit in the hole, even with the rubber piece protecting it from dirt and grime. The key is now stuck in the lock. Not that it matters, because I have to get the pin cut off anyways. I'd avoid this product.

Does the job !
Easy to install and safely secures my bike rack the receiver hitch. Dust cover keeps debris out of the key slot. (Useful feature).
