Great block set.
I ordered these blocks for my 1 year old son and he has already had lots of fun with them. There are lots of different shapes and sizes for unique building and they are a good quality. It's nice that they come in their own box so they can easily be put away when we aren't playing with them. I would definitely recommend these blocks to anyone who is looking for a good quality set. Beware of wood filler
Please be cautious if you have young children who might chew on these blocks! Some of the blocks have wood filler in them. My son mouthed a block with filler and was able to chew the filler off. When the filler is wet, you can scrape it off with your fingernail. Who knows what kind of glue and chemicals are used in the filler. Rating:

A fantastic set of starter blocks
We bought this for my almost-3-year-old, who was showing interest in blocks. We were looking for unpainted, durable wooden blocks that were large enough to not be a choking hazard for her baby sister. We went through tons of different blocks online and decided on these. These were perfect -- sturdy, large (the smallest is about 1.5"x1.5"x1.5", give or take a bit), varied in shape and size (there are tall cylinders, triangles, half-circles, regular squares and rectangles, arches), a good value and come in a big wooden box that pretty much tests my IQ by seeing how I can get them all to fit back in! I would highly recommend these. Rating:

Old Fashion Wood Blocks
These blocks were a blast from the past when I was a kid. I had purchased them for my grandson since he loved to build. I like that that they came with a box to keep them in that was not poor construction. These block are the standard size and with no color to come off in childs mouth or to chip off. Great purchase. |
