Pretty neat stuff
We are happy with our moonsand. However, we waited quite a while for it's actual arrival...a suprisingly long wait time. But, the kids seem to like it and it is less messy than regular sand. There are three colors that come with it, which was not noted. Red, blue, and sand colored...these have all mixed into purple. The children don't seem to mind, but I would have rather just had sand colored. Overall, a good product, we will need some more for our sand table soon as a 7 lb tub isn't near as much as I thought it would be.

Messy, messy, messy!
I was thinking about buying a Moon Sand kit for my son for his birthday so when he received the Farm Kit as a gift I was happy - up until we started to play with it. Thankfully, I had him go outside to use it and put a sheet on the table. Moon Sand is so fine that it is nearly impossible to pick up any that goes astray. Moon Sand is great for using in the accompanying molds but it is nearly impossible to build something at random so if your kids are more creative, something like PlayDough is better for you. We won't be buying any more Moon Sand.

Fun, fun, fun.
My two year old loves his moon sand. We bought this to fill up a storage container, the kind that fits under your bed, so that he can play with it on rainy days. So far, so good. It can be a bit messy, but the clean up is so easy. I just sweep it up from the floor and back into the container and it wipes off easily from his hands and clothes. Also, you can use regular sand toys, etc. to play in the sand with. Two thumbs up!!

Early Childhood's favorite sensory experience
I purchased Moonsand to use in my class romm of 4 year olds, and wow it has been a hit for the past three months. Nothing has stayed in the sensory table and drawn continuous attention for that long. Older students have visited and enjoyed the moonsand as well. (as old as 12 years old) Now keep in mind in a classroom I may have a higher tolerance for messy than in one's own home, and the moonsand is in a sensory table which is designed to hold water, regular sand (and belive me moonsand is way less messy, rice or other such materials. Yet in still I find this product to be worth the money and the occasional messy moments.

Moon Sand
My children are 8 and 10 years old. With most toys they become bored and stop playing with the toy in a week or less. However, with Play Sand they have been playing with it every day for more than a month now. Its low cost, durability and ability to hold the children's interest makes this toy one of the best toys I have ever purchased for my kids.
