Online multiplayer ESRB Rated E for Everyone Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-08-22 They Ruined A Great Game I've been a big fan of this game since its 2 earlier releases. I must say I was expecting Untamed to be out of this world...Not so, they turned it into an Arcade game with Unrealistic racing action, Unlike the first 2 releases Which Had "Extremely realistic racing action". It seems they focused too much on the freestyle tricks and stadium trucks...Please go back to your roots and create an exciting mx racing game.. Rating: Date: 2008-07-22 Motorstorm is much better This review is going out to the 360 and PS3 versions both. My best friend rented this for the PS3. The game was okay, but nothing great. We played this for about 45-60 min and then got bored and wanted to play something else. For one thing, Motorstorm outclassed this game in every aspect, the graphics are much better, the racing is more intense, and the most important part, Motorstorm is much more FUN! This is the whole reason anyone should play video games, for fun! If a games is not fun, it's not worth playing, period. It's very hard to explain fully in words, but try playing this and then play motorstorm, you will see what I'm talking about. Motorstorm owns this run-of-the-mill, mediocre, pawn shop trade-in dust collector. Rating: Date: 2008-04-14 Mx vs. ATV Untamed The product arrived very quickly and my family loves the game. I am very pleased with everything that I get from Amazon. Rating: Date: 2008-03-01 unleashed is better I like the graphics but the engines for the bikes and quads are a little cheesey compared to unleashed. the whip/scrub button is a great addition to the gameplay especially if you ride in real life. you can ride with a lot more style and fluidity. the actual supercross season is pretty short and the tracks are limited. the same goes for the outdoors. if you are an mx'er you will most likely appreciate this game, but if you are just another gamer you might want to pass. also, there are no real brand names for the bikes, only aftermarket parts like procircuit, big gun, one ind., fmf, etc. and fox, thor, msr, no fear, etc. for gear. thats it! Rating: Date: 2008-02-19 Best of the Series Untamed is definitely the best of this series with improvements to the graphics and interface without any compromises to the great feel of riding off-road vehicles. It's no Dirt or Forza 2 in terms of graphics, but it is several steps better than its predecessors. The environments are varied and beautifully modelled and rendered. There are many fun elements to ride on and jump over and through. The achievements are distributed in a logical way and are challenging without being frustrating to obtain.
They have removed the aircraft from the newest version (which is no big loss) and added increased customization capability and a much welcomed test track while you wait for your selection to load.
A great game to play with kids of any age. My six year old has played two previous versions and especially loves the 'free ride' mode. |
