An exclusive cold process method extracts the essence from selected vanilla beans grown on the island of Madagascar, producing rich and delicious flavour that is unsurpassed. Madagascar Bourbon pure vanilla is the most popular extract - the pinnacle of all vanillas. It is characterized by its very creamy, sweet, full flavor with velvet aftertones. This vanilla is especially suited for rich foods such as ice cream, cream sauces and bakery items.
8 ounce/236 ml bottle.
Kosher pareve, certified by the Chicago Rabbinical Council.
Ingredients: water, ethyl alcohol, sugar, and vanilla bean extractives. Gluten free.

Fantastic product even finds new friends overseas!
I've been using the Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla for years. It's EXTREMELY expensive here in Australia and I found some when I was in Hawaii, very cheap by our Aussie pricing standards. When I wanted to get more online I searched and found a site that would ship to Australia, and got in touch with a lovely lady in Customer Service. She was in Fredericksburg, Texas. Anyway, after much email chat Laura and 3 other Texans came to visit and stay with us in Adelaide, Australia. So you see, just cooking with this product is OK, but the wider world is a fastcinating place and new friends can be made because of Vanilla Extract.

Damaged item
This item arrived damaged. Vanilla had leaked out of cap area and was all inside the box. I called the company who was very courteous and apologetic and said they would ship another bottle the next day. I expect its arrival any day now.

Six months and many calls later...I never did receive the bottle that they said they would ship. I'm out the money but they're out a customer.
