Don't buy this
The fit on this cover is awful. it makes the cover basically useless. Do not buy this item.

Not all colors are created alike!
I purchased two of this item, a grey and a black. One for me, another for a friend. The black is clearly superior in terms of materials and design. It fits around the phone leaving the entire face exposed. The material is very sturdy and it met my goals of being able to put it in my pocket without the bulky leather case (I think wearing a phone on your belt is the equivalent of wearing a calculator on your belt, but that's another story).

The grey, by comparison, is designed so there is a strip of material that runs across the face right around where the dial/hang-up buttons are. It's less elegant and makes the buttons a pain in the neck to use. The rubber used in the grey seemed flimsier, but that's just an opinion, I haven't tested it.

Neither case protects the clear plastic display. You'll have to get some additional material to protect the front from getting scratched.

The black is just a smidge better and would get 5 stars. The grey gets 4..

Good But Not Great
I've had this for a little over a month now. It does what it should which is protect your expensive BlackBerry. But, it's really thick and makes an already wide phone a little wider, makes the buttons on the sides harder to press (completly negates the handy stick out on the shortcut button) and decreases in volume an already low ringer on the BlackBerry. It does what it says it will, but I wish it could do it with a little less bulk. Oh, and the other dude on here that said he had to cut off a center strip is talking about another skin, not this one.

Good product ... but NOT AS ADVERTISED!!
There is a center guard for the four middle buttons and the track ball which is not shown in the product image. I had to cut it off (hate doing that!!) so that I could use these buttons easily. Otherwise it became nearly impossible to access the track ball.

Pros:

The silicone cover is nice and gives a good grip on the device. The cover is easy to put on and take off.

Cons:

Collects dust very easily. Especially shows up on a black cover. The cover makes it difficult to type at the edges and I suspect that as it leaves very little exposure for the mic hole, conversations become very difficult especially while talking with the speaker phone on.

No More Dropsies
Within four days of purchasing my glorious Blackberry 8830, I unceremoniously dropped it six times. After buying the stylish and functional Silicone Case I'm happy to note that I haven't dropped this expensive of electronics once in months. That's right.
