How it Works
The DFT (Digital Filter Technology) uses a sensor to detect and isolate only the essential pulse oscillation, which helps eliminate other noise factors and leads to quick and reliable measurements. This also helps avoid over-tightening of the cuff. The monitor lights up if you are moving during a reading, alerting you to the fact that your reading will not proceed unless you stop moving. The automatic memory feature allows you to capture save readings for two different individuals, making it easy to keep track of your results. The Color Confirmation System
Thanks to the color confirmation system, it's easy to read and interpret your results. The monitor uses a three color light system to indicate if your reading falls in the hypertension, pre-hypertension or normal range. For the Systolic measurement, red indicates hypertension (over 140); yellow indicates pre-hypertension (130-139); and green indicates readings in the normal range (under 129).

I am not in the habbit of reviewing items but I felt compeled to review this one. I had an older pump style unit that I had lost confidence in. My primary care physican suggested that I replace my old unit. He recommended several stores where I might find a BP monitor. He also recommended that I not get a watch type monotor as those had been erratic at best in his experience. My search proved dissapointing and so I finally went to the Amazon site. I found this unit and purchased it. I am really satisfied with this unit and use it daily now. I recently had my semi-annual visit with my cardiologist. He ran several tests to validate the readings of the unit compared with his perfessional model and was impressed with the units accuracy. I am really glad that I bought this monotor. Rating:

Nice and easy to use
Through the help of others' suggestions via Amazon, I found this blood pressure monitor and thought I'd give it a try. I'm really glad I did - it has great features, is very simple to use, and stores as a cute, compact unit. Definitely worth the money and even better - it's not really expensive to begin with! Rating:

Acurate and easy to use
This is a very well made and easy to use product. My whole family uses it because it's so convenient and easy. I'm a doctor and I can confirm that this is a very accurate unit when compared to my own reading with a stethoscope. I would definite recommend this unit. Rating:
