Penny Serenade
I love the movie "Penny Serenade" and decided to purchase a DVD for myself. However, when I watched it, there was a part in the middle of the movie that had been cut out. I was very disapointed.

TOO LATE!
I was too late getting to Penny Serenade and it was gone. My purchase price was refunded quickly and I would consider this a super purchase experience. I will use this merchant again!

A Wonderful never out dated movie
This is a beautifully acted movie. I have a complete very fine copy. email me and I will "give" you a complete and good copy. I am a real fan of this movie and particularly Irene Dunne.

The Loss of a Child Can Destroy a Marriage--or Strengthen It
This old movie brings back old memories. For instance, one recalls the time that there were no Pampers and only cloths folded and pinned into diapers were used on infants.

In the plot of this movie, one difficulty follows another. An earthquake destroys the building in which the couple is spending its honeymoon in Japan. Later, the couple wants a child, but the prospective mother has a miscarriage. They decide to adopt a 2 year-old boy, but only a 5-week old girl is available. Still, they fall in love with her, and name her Trina. They dote on her constantly.

When Trina is a little older, she carries the cake during her adoptive mother's birthday party. She also has a behind-the-scenes role in a Christmas play. She can't wait until next year and her turn in the form of the leading role. But it is not to be. The film doesn't show it, but Trina is no more the next Christmas. Instead, the grieving parents drive a mother and her son to the Christmas play, and are forced to endure the sight of it without Trina.

Their pain is unbearable. Soon, mother and father are hardly even talking to each other. Will the marriage last? Could there be another child in their future? Watch the movie and find out.

Oldie But Goodie
I first saw this movie when I was a child, it catching my attention as my mother watched it in the livingroom. I could never get into an old black and white movie I didn't think. I am happy to be able to own it now and hopefully, it will catch the attention of my own children someday so I can share with them. There are some heartbreaking moments in this movie that are hard for me to watch over again. But if a movie can touch you the way this does, it is worth watching over and over; and a "have to" to own for classic movie lovers.
