Dwight Barnett Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-07-07 Awesome Bicycle Racks If you are looking for a way to organize the bicycles in your home these are the way to go. These racks are very solid and hold the bicycles securely without worry of damage to the wheels. They were very easy to put together. Rating: Date: 2008-06-24 Hard to put together, but worth it. Working great for my bikes, came in the mail very quickly. Difficult to put together, one has to use a bit of "English" to get the parts to line up properly, but with two of us, we were able to put them together in about 20 minutes each. Rating: Date: 2008-06-15 A decent bike stand Pros: Compact and doesn't require wall installation. Easy to assemble. Does the job of holding bikes upright, outdoors in our very windy area.
Con: The stand is very lightweight and will stick to fat tires, which could add a couple of seconds to the removal of a mountain bike. To avoid this, I step on the base of the stand with one foot then pull the bike out. You might consider drilling the stand to the floor or filling its hollow base with sand or rocks. Rating: Date: 2008-05-30 Bike Stand by Racor This bike stand is easy to assemble. It is light enough to easily move around and heavy enough to hold the bikes securely without tipping or moving as the bikes are put in and out. I bought 2 of these units since we have 4 bikes to store and they fit side by side perfectly and still have enough space between them so the bikes are not colliding. The kids bikes are best loaded from the opposite side as shown in the instructions. Cleaned up the garage floor nicely! Rating: Date: 2008-05-18 excellent exellent. great valvu. steardy.
the only con- is that it takes some time to assemble- other than that- I would buy more. |
