I wanted to purchase a refill for my shaver cleaning tank. I usually purchased direct from Remington but decided to shop around. Found it only here cheaper. Same product as from Remington, just less expensive. That should be enough to convince you. Rating:

Cheap cologne
I have been using the product for about 1 month. Since I have a beard I don't have to clean my shaver that often. Suppose to last 1 month but will last longer for me unless it evaporates first. The solution and filter clean the shaver great. But I give it a low rating because it stinks!!! Smells like some cheap cologne. To get past the smell, I run the cleaner in the late afternoon. Prior to going to bed I pull the shaver up some so that it will drain well and vent out the odor. Why they selected the odor is beyond my comprehension. Rating:

Hard to find
The major benefit of buying this through Amazon is that it's so hard to find it anywhere else. If I had realized how hard to find it is, I'm not sure I'd have bought the razor. That said, the product is a good one. Rating:

Misleading Amazon shopping cart
Originaly I ordered a box with 6 of this cleaning solution back in September. Amazon said it would not be available until January 2007. I needed this solution for my shaver. So I ordered to 2 pack instead. Well upon going through the misleading amazon interface, I was under the impression that if I order $25 or more I get free shipping. So I order this solution and some neutrogena aftershave cream. As a result, i ended up buying these 2 products from 2 different vendors, so I ended up paying $5+ extra for each shipping! |
