Great sprayer for big properties
If you need to walk a great deal to spray all the plants on your property then you might find this product helpful in a sense that you don't have to carry the container with your hand or on your back. But you need to walk a lot to make sure that there is enough pressure in the sprayer otherwise you will run out of it before long. The wand that comes wiht the Gilmour Sprayer W4 is nothing to impress!! I will have to buy another wand with extension in other to reach areas that I was able to before with my hand sprayer. It's a bummer to make another expense and pay again for shipping... Overall I am satisfied besides what is mentioned above. Rating:

LOT EASIER THAN A HAND PUMP SPRAYER
The 1st sprayer I received was busted in shipping.I'd suggest that the product inside the original container be wrapped in bubble wrap or given protection before being placed in the Amazon.com shipping box. I was not happy about this. I requested a replacement, filled it liquid plant food and it worked nicely. The only problem was that it was leaking from the bottom. Tightening the drain seems to have corrected this. The price was cheaper than others I'd checked and the free shipping was great! Rating:

Fantastic product BUTTTTTTTTT
This was my third purchase of this product The fist two performed brilliantly but the last one was trouble from the start. All were purchased within a few weeks timeframe. I filled it with weedkiller and went to work. It arrived with no instructions. After a short period of satisfactory operation the wheels began to drag and not turn freely. Pressure was not sufficient to maintain a spray pattern. I put it in my truck and drove about 5 miles and when I unloaded it to work, to my amazement the hose had swelled in two places and burst in one. I made a field repair but the wheels would not turn properly so my trip was for naught. I called Gilmour customer service and was pleased with their response. They sent a new pump and hose for me to install along with some vague instructions. Since I didnt know about the drain valve on the bottom I turned it up and poured the contents out from the top. Lo and behold, all kinds of black crud came out including a three inch corkscrew of plastic that had fallen inside from the hole they cut in the top during the manufacturing process. The first step in parts replacement called for reaching in through the top and removing the air plenem. My arm was too big and my employees hand was too big to fit into the top of the container so we were stymied for a few days until I could locate someone of asiatic descent whose hand and arm would fit into the container neck so we could proceed with repairs. It now works as designed. The hose is constantly being run over due its location, a situation easily remedied by placing a small bungee cord around the hose and tank to hold it up out of harms way. Why should a user have to solve this problem? These are minor problems that cause major headaches and cost a company money and customers. Due to the potential of this product and responsiveness of customer service I will buy more of this product now that I have learned to overcome shoddy manufacturing and install repair parts in a new sprayer. Not what you would expect for a relatively simple product that cost almost $100. with shipping. Just my opinion. Rating:

Handy Helper
We have a fairly large yard and my husband , for medical reasons, can't do the things he used to do. I bought this so he did not have to carry or manually pump anything. It works great and he really likes it. Glad we went for the 4 gallon size. Rating:

Gilmour wheel pump
The pump works well. The smaller version is without a doubt a better choice. When this pump is filled it is heavy and ackward to handle. The wand is very cheaply made, this should have been made of medal rather than plastic. After being in the sun, the wand curled. I would recommend to anyone interested, don't buy the 4-Gallon, buy the smaller version.
