Great fun for 2 and 5 year old
I heavily use others' reviews and with this toy I definitely feel I need to pay it forward. We have been through many backyard water toys and this is a keeper. The kids love it and so far it seems very sturdy. One thing - you need plenty of space to fully enjoy it. We tried to use in on the deck of a two story home and it sprays too wide for that - great for back yards. Rating:

Good but a little Overrated
There's not that many spraying arms therefore if you don't have a very strong or good water pressure it doesn't work well. Kids and parents will both enjoy it! Rating:

Instead of wasting money on a well-known cartoon character sprinkler, I decided to purchase this sprinkler based on other cusotmers' reviews....and I'm glad I did! This sprinkler is awesome! It really does spray a lot of water in every direction. My 3 stepkids (ages 4, 5 and 8) hate going outside on hot days, but this kept them entertained outside for over an hour each day we used it (before purchasing this item, they didn't want to stay outside for more than 5 minutes)!
(And it really does water the lawn well too...in fact I had to have the kids move it around because some areas were getting watered too well!) Rating:

Everybody gets soaked!

I bought this for my 2 year old and 5 year old. When it first came in I thought it was going to be junk-it looked like it was cheaply built-BUT, when I hooked it up to the hose outside, I was amazed! There is so much water that comes out of it, and in all different directions-it worked very very well. The water that came out was strong.
The only thing I didnt like about it was that sometimes the little tubes that flip around get caught under it, and someone has to "bravely" walk up to it and pull them out-but the center of it spins and water comes out there, and the little hoses on the side squirt water all over. My 5 year old loved it, and played in it for almost 2 hours! My 2 year old loved it-it made him laugh, and kept his attention for a very long time. It is great for the parents too-just make sure you place the sprinkler far enough away from you that you dont get wet-because it does reach very far! Great for a hot day-for both kids and adults! Enjoy it! It has also held up-and hasnt broken at all-its been left outside through storms, sun and tons of use, and it is still working great! |
