Fabulous TV and a great price
Highly recommend the Samsung LCD 1080P Televisions - bought a 46" last year and a 40 " recently. Both met my expectations. Amazon's price and delivery service was super ! I tell everyone I know about it.

THE BEST 40" LCD HDTV
Bought this TV last week after doing a daily search for four weeks to pick the best one in the 40" catagory (the upper limit for our room size/ratio - and I'm an aerospace engineer, so performance and specs matter). This Samsung blows all the others away. Second would be the Sony Bravia series. Everything is easy to use and intuitive. Picture is excellent - everything as advertised. Would buy one for everyone I know if I could. Amazon price is the best also. If you want a 40" you must have this one. You won't be disappointed!

Great TV
After doing lots of research. I picked this great TV. Wonderfully amazing picture. The only thing that could make it better is more than 1 svideo connector. But it is very light weight to. Amazing, buy it you'll love it for sure!!

Almost excellent
The Samsung LN40A550 40-inch 1080p LCD HDTV is everything we wanted in a TV. I did some research on Samsung products before we made the purchace and Samsung has pioneered a lot of electronics. I have never bought Samsung before and my research made me more comfortable with their products. It was easy to set up with our DVD and VCR. The picture is very good and we didn't have to adjust colors or any other fine adjustments. The sound quality was very good and with lots of room for expansion. The menu for the setup was easy to understand and straight forward. We would buy Samsung again.

Excellent HDTV
I just got this first HDTV after considerable research. Amazon had the best price. I was reluctant about buying via Amazon but the experience was great. The TV arrived in a few days and they set it up, checked it for apperarance and performance. A few days later the price dropped and Amazon quickly refunded the price difference.
The setings were perfect and needed no adjustment. The HDTV works great with HD, digital, standard cable, DVD's and even VCR tapes.The design is nice with a turnable pedastel.
The July Fourth fireworks were awesome. Blacks are superb, color is vibrant ,whites are clear. The TV works well in bright or dark seeings.Sound is excellent.
The TV is set up about 100 feet from the digital cable box . I use coaxial cable with repeater and the results are great.
