The plastic base monitor adapts for wall mounting or stands upright on tables or window ledges. The LCD display reveals the dual temperatures in 1-1/5-inch high digits. The base unit also records daily minimum and maximum temperatures and notifies users of low battery levels with a low-battery indicator. thermometer battery eater
This thermometer appears to be acurate and easy to use. However, it's a good thing I use rechargeable batterries, because the remote goes through batteries every two weeks.

Like the simplicity of it.
I found this product to do the job that it is designed for in an adequate manner. I didn't need the other information that some of the higher priced models offered so it does the job.

Works for me
This unit has worked as advertised, although I haven't challenged it's capability re: distance from the sensor to the main unit. I did take the advice of others and put the sensor unit inside a plastic bag to keep it from getting wet. I like the large display a lot, and don't need a thermometer to tell me what time it is. A sound value.

Good for indoor use only
I tried two of these, and both failed to show outdoor temps after just a few weeks. If you want reliable outdoor data, get the wired type of thermometer.
