Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-07-07 The answer Enlightening and excellent book. Would recommend the book to my friends. I did enjoy reading the way author has explained in the book. Definitely a book worth reading Rating: Date: 2008-07-04 Continuation of The Secret! Yes, the Law of Attraction lives on and the author does a great follow up of The Secret and other books on this topic. I have to tell you there are many out there and this is such easy reading. However, would like to recommend my favorite because not only does it give information, but shows you how through exercises and a journal to record your transformation,Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook. A must read too. Rating: Date: 2008-07-04 Rubbish After the big build up and glowing reviews I expected something amazing. Starts off with pseudo science mumbo jumbo consisting of a Star Wars "use the force" theme - a very long stretch from Quantum Physics theory to how you can change your future. Moves through some physcology on how to change your self view and see yourself as a "winner". It then goes on to more realistic, but fairly basic, market segmentation advice for targetting your customer base with a continuous plug for their consultancy company throughout. All in all, yet another book written by a couple of guys who cant quite believe they just happened to win life's lottery and therefore have to try and retrofit some clever strategy/methedology to what they have achieved instead of realizing that 95% of it was being in the right place at the right time - "if you just wish for it and work hard enough you will get your dream life" - use it but dont expect it's a guarantee to get the winning ticket and dont believe the hype. Expect the Donny Deutsch genre of "just go out there and max out your credit cards/debt to achieve your dream business" - they never interview the 85% of people who crash and burn. Rating: Date: 2008-07-04 Impressive! I have read other books about how to run a business, etc., but I loved the way this one blends the law of attraction with running a business. This one will be by my side for a long time, unlike all the others that I turned around and sold on an auction site to get some of my money back. There is a lot of great information in this book to help you build the business and life of your dreams! Rating: Date: 2008-07-04 The Answer should be required reading at the Harvard School of Business The book is truly a primer, blue print for any one starting a business or wanting to excel in the life and in business.
The Harvard School of Business should make this book required reading and study.
I enjoyed reading the two different writing and business styles of both authors. Usually when people co-author a book, the reader does not feel the personality of both authors. This book is unique in that respect, and that makes the book even more interesting.
I gleened so much from the rereading of this book, but by far Chapter 15 was the crowning glory for me. This chapter summarized the mindset of a business person THINKING BIG. |
