ONE GREAT PRODUCT
I bought this because my son borrowed my old Thermos/Nissan mug that I've had for almost 20 years and left it somewhere. I loved my old mug, it kept my coffee hot for hours. Then I ordered another brand mug, that claimed it did the same and it was a 20oz. mug, well it did hold 20oz. but it did not keep the contents hot at all. One way to tell if you have a good insulated mug is if the outside stays cool to the touch, the brand X would get hot which meant the contents were getting cooler. I love my new mug, I recommend it to anyone looking for a good, well made mug that works as advertised. The only thing better would be if it held 20 oz. Rating:

it's silly to profess love for a mug, but i will!
this mug is awesome! no, the lid is not spill-proof, just spill-resistant (no more so than your average takeout dunkin donuts styrofoam cup). the purpose of this mug is to keep your beverage hot or cold while you're on the go, and it's phenomenal. i can make my coffee at 6:30am, and still have very, very warm coffee at 11:30am. this is a huge convenience in my life as i work fulltime with three children. not only does this mug do a great job of insulating coffee, it has a fairly large capacity (most mugs are 14-oz sizes), without becoming top-heavy. i've made some fairly sharp, quick turns and sudden stops with a full mug, and it's never fallen over or spilled. i highly recommend this cup - it's worth every penny! Leaks
I have other Nissan products, but this one is just a poor design. If you tip over the tumbler with the lid closed, the beverage just pours out. The liquid leaks out of the pivot holes for the drink stopper. The lid needs to go back to the design center. Rating:

BEST TRAVELING DRINK HOLDER EVER
After my husband lost his original Nissan Thermos Tumbler, i bought ANOTHER BRAND ..... he HATED the OTHER brand.... so, i bought him another Thermos Nissan tumbler and he's a happy camper ! it's the best product ever.... 9 hours later your coffee is still warm or your cold drink still cold ! received the product quickly and it's all good !! |
