Product Description: One of America's most beloved board games has been updated to feature trivia from the 1990's. Combining a tried-and-true board game favorite with modern day material makes for hours of friendly competition and entertainment. The 90's Edition Trivial Pursuit game features six categories: Oops, Wired, Viewing, Trends, Important and Hangin'. Includes 2,400 card questions. For two to six players. Editorial Review : Who confronted Ivana Trump with: Do you love your husband? Because I do? What sitcom star popularized the Rachel haircut? Who led the 1995 Million Man March on Washington? Capture the scandals and successes of the 1990s in this tin-box time capsule! Okay, you know the routine. Trivial Pursuit's immense popularity is due in part to its rehashing of bizarre, poignant, funny, and sometimes, well, trivial details of life on Planet Earth. The 1990s Edition continues the tradition, allowing two to four adult players (or teams) to pose questions to one another in six categories, including the new Oops (mistakes and mishaps),Wired (technology, gadgets, and the Internet), and Hangin' (what people did in their leisure time) categories. As they correctly answer questions, players move around the board, collecting colored wedges. Includes game board, one deck of 400 question-and-answer cards, five card holders, one 6-sided die, one 10-sided die, four decorated pawns, and 24 scoring wedges. --Emilie Coulter Customer Reviews: Rating: Date: 2008-01-01 prompt shipping This order was received very promptly. I am pleased with the quick receipt of my order. Rating: Date: 2007-12-13 Great addition to the Trivial Pursuit family. I like the durable metal box this version comes in. If you have any awareness for the news on a day in and day out basis, the questions are not hard, but, anyone who doesn't keep up with the news and current events may struggle with the answers. Many of the questions give clues to the answers if you are paying attention to how the question is phrased. I played it with my adult children and their spouses and it was as much fun as the original. Trivial Pusuit is still our "family favorite" game and this version is a great addition. Rating: Date: 2007-12-03 Great Game For All Ages!!!!!! This game was requested by my son who is deployed to Iraq right now. They wanted something fun to play during "down time". It worked out great! They all love it and are having a great time playing it! It is a great game for all ages!! Rating: Date: 2007-07-13 I will work for Trivia We use this game in our call center every Friday! It's sales verses service and we have a blast! Rating: Date: 2007-04-03 I LOVE IT! This edition of Trivial Pursuit is GREAT! Being a child of the 90's, this game brings back so many memories. Anyone who says this game is too difficult should have paid more attention during the era of Cole-Haan Loafers and JNCOs. The difficulty level is moderate in my opinion. Im glad I decided to get it. |
