This European device cores a pineapple and removes the meat with as little waste as possible. Depending on the fruit's size, you snap on one of three corers. After slicing off the pineapple's top, you center the plastic corer on the flesh and begin turning it clockwise. When you reach the bottom, simply pull out the corer and, with it, the pineapple's juicy flesh in a neat, ready-to-eat stack. Use the intact shell to hold a fruit salad or tropical sorbet.

Fast and easy
This is the fastest and easiest way to cut up a pineapple. It only takes 20 secs to do it with minimal waste of fruit. A must have if you enjoy fresh pineapple over the canned crap.

Great Gift
I gave this item as a gift to my mother and she loves it. You can clean a fresh pineapple in less that five minutes. If you don't have one you need one!

This makes pineapples taste even better!
I ordered the vacuvin pineapple corer after seeing one at a friend's house. I couldn't believe how easy it made slicing a pineapple. And not only the ease of use, I swear it makes the pineapple taste better! It retains all the juice and the pineapple tastes like heaven. My kids love using the pineapple skin as a cup after it's hollowed out. I recomend this product to anyone who enjoys fresh fruit!

VacuVin Pineapple slicer
While I do like this product, it was a little harder to use than I had thought. It takes some time to get it just right so you aren't trying to slice too close to the rind and also it was harder to pull out than I had thought it would be. However, with all that said...it was well worth the price and was much neater to slice. It also preserved more of the juice in the pineapple and what was left you can drink with a straw!It does slice the pineapple into thin slices so if you want to have thicker slices or chunky you have to cut it up with a knife.
