Weber grill q320
This grill is stunning! No harder to put together than any other grill...I think this may be #4 for us. Grills food quickly, looks good, and has a surprisingly large surface area. We figured to down size as the family shrinks, but have had no problem when grilling for a moderate crowd. This was supposedly on backorder, but we got it in 5 days. Amazon...best price, free shipping...great product! What's not to love!

So Far, So Great!
We received our grill Wednesday before the 4th and put it together that evening when I got home. We used it for the first time on the 4th to cook burgers and they were great. The next evening we cooked boneless chicken breasts on our grill and they were the best I had ever cooked, and I'm not just saying that because of the new grill. They actually were the best, ask my wife. I was pleasantly surprised that the size of the cooking area was more than adequate even if you do end up cooking for 10-12 people. If this weekend was any sign of my cooking experiences with WeberQ then we are in for grand love affair. I highly recommend it.

An outstanding purchase!
This grill is as good as others described it to be. And it looks great, too! Very easy to put together in 10 minutes (15-20 min if distracted by kids!). It's made of well-designed durable parts. Heat is distributed well to ensure that food is cooked evenly regardless of where it sits. After tolerating cheaper grills that seemed to be slapped together in a hurry at someone's garage, this one helped us rediscover the great taste of grilled food!

Unfortunately, the plastic is flammable.
The assembly was easy; I did the gas leak test and turned the burners on. I turned to get something, heard a second "Whoosh!" of igniting propane followed by my wife shouting, "Put it out! Put it out!", as she ran out of the yard. Even though there were flames shooting from the burner control knob and the burning plastic shelf was emiting noxious black smoke, I heroically turned off the cannister valve. The fire immediately went out, however "stupidly" may be a better adverb than "heroically".

Turns out there was a huge hole in the gas supply tube exiting the control knob which didn't turn up in the leak test because you aren't supposed to turn on the burners during the test. Amazon graciously accepted my return and my decision to cancel the order. I decided to order the Vermont Castings grill instead.

I liked the Weber grill but thanks to this episode I realized that there is too much plastic used in its construction. I have experienced grease fires using my old grill that could have ended in disaster using the Weber.

Wow! Very nice.
I didn't realize how much difference a good grill makes. I'm very impressed with this grill. It cooks evenly with very little flare ups. It doesn't take up a lot of room. Don't let the fact that the BTU level is lower on this grill then many of the cheap retail store grills fool you, it cooks food better. The 300 series cover I bought fits the 320 series very nicely. I highly recommend this grill!
