Left click stopped working
Keyboard worked great then the left click function in all 3 areas it can be used stopped working. Only had the POS for about 4 weeks. I threw away the box it came in so Amazon won't take it back. I have to send it back to Adesso. They are asking in the RMA to return it in the original packaging. Crap! Going to send it back anyway and see what happens. Hopefully they'll replace it and the new one will work.

It does the Job
I bought this to use in my living room with my home brew Media PC/DVR. It does what I need it to do. It doesn't have the frills that some others may have but it doesn't take up the whole coffee table either. The only wish I have is about the range. More than about 15ft away it starts to miss some keystrokes (communication link starts to get too weak I guess). I do have the USB receiver around back of the PC though (for asthetics reasons). I'm sure if I moved the receiver to a more optimal spot I would probably get better reception. Also I should say that the the install was perfect, nothing to install, easy as pie! Rating:

Great Solution for Wireless Keyboard/Mouse (For MAC or PC)
I absolutely love this keyboard. I had very high hopes when I purchased it to use with my MacBook Pro & part time with my PS3. It has exceeded my expectations.
It works flawlessly with both my Mac & the occasion PC that I use.
Although the browser functions on the keyboard don't work when using a Mac (email button, My Computer, forward page, & back a page), other important functions work fine (like volume control, play/pause media, skip track/chapter).
Even though here is no "Apple" button, don't fear, the Windows icon button on the keyboard does the same function.
The best part of the keyboard that separates it from other wireless keyboards (even Apple's bluetooth wireless keyboard(s)) is a trackball mouse. This helps the keyboard to be very ergonomical. It just feels natural in your hands.
I love the versatility of this keyboard and would recommend it to anyone looking for a all-in-one wireless keyboard mouse.
This keyboard is even great for a home entertainment center or PS3. It makes it much easier to navigate the internet browser on the PS3.

excellent no-name keyboard
To be honest, I wasn't looking forward for this purchase, especially that the keyboard is not from a known manifacturer...
When first take it out of the box, you will notice the good built quality for the keyboard its self, hard plastic, doesn't twist, and solid rock.
I have worked with track ball mouse before, and this one disappointed me first as it wasn't accurate, but with one day use it got much better, i think the little bit of dust that gathered on the track ball made it accurate to be read, while when it was brand new, it used to jump and sometimes the cursor won't move.
The button are beautifully arranged, well sized for your fingers, the track wheel is in excellent place, plus it acts as a third mouse button, i wasn't expecting they would go to the hassle to make the wheel 'click'.
The only thing that you can 'see' it's low cheap quality is the USB wireless transmitter, but that didn't bother me especially that it is stashed on the PC case and out of my sight, so it's nothing to worry about.
I strongly recommend this product, very solid built that it survived being shipped by normal caro for a week all the way around the world to Dubai!! and here I am using it from my sofa. Very powerfull signal, never interrupted so far by anything although I have wireless network router just right next to the PC.
It's such a shame that Microsoft or any other well known manufacturer doesn't produce track ball wireless keyboards like this one.
A very recommended purchase if you are looking for a nice wireless keyboard/mouse solution. Rating:

Convenient!
I'm sitting on my couch, viewing on a 50" plasma, the laptop is the centerpiece of of my media center and I'm typeing this on my Wireless Rf Mini Mulimedia USB Kyb with optical Trackball 2.4GHZ Blk, can it get any better? Well, if you want to get picky, the mouse functions well but the layout takes some getting used to. And the keys are a bit tough. They're not bad if your a heavy typer but if your used to a profesional quality keyboard key feel, it can take some getting used to as well. I still love it. |
