Durable and easily cleaned- great heavy duty shears
I recently purchased these when my last set of poultry shears broke at the joint. These had a decently high rating and were available for the 4-for-3 deal so I grabbed a pair.
So far they've been great. The take-apart design makes them easier to clean and less likely to break as they have a way of failing safely built into them. They are also significantly sharper than any of the previous kitchen shears I've owned, which has included some much more expensive products.
These seem a little pricey at first, but they're high quality, easily cleaned, and tougher than the average scissors. If they're on sale and you need another item to add to get the 4-3 promotion they're definately worth it. They're still just shears though, so if your current ones work fine then it might be best to wait till those wear out to replace them. After all, it doesn't make sense to buy something simply because it lasts longer when what you have still works fine does it? Rating:

They work for me!
I purchased these shears because they come apart for easy cleaning. They are working out well. I use the shears mostly for cutting raw meat into smaller pieces. It cuts through skin and fat easily. Rating:

Perfect
I can take apart a cornish hen with this without taking out my knife. I love how easy they are to clean. As with everything Wusthof its very high quality, I own several of their knives as well. This is a great addition to my kitchen. The bottle opener is also great for opening those stubborn soda bottles. Rating:

Every kitchen needs a set!
These are really a great set of kitchen shears. I've had other shears and they just weren't very sharp or well-made. Once I got these, those others got tossed in the trash! These are strong and sharp enough to cut up a chicken, and still can handle cutting plastic bags and other more delicate tasks. Everything from cutting flowers to cutting paper and cardboard, these really are versatile. And the bottlecap opener on the handles is a nice plus! The shears come apart easily but not so easily that they come apart during (as some others I've tried do). Highly recommended. Rating:

Great kitchen shears at the right price.
I have used these kitchen shears for a bunch of things in the kitchen now, they are very sharp and really comfortable to use.
