nice replaces burning through batteries
this works and holds its charge for quite a while but you need to make sure that you get the play and charge wire to go along with it - one thing that is weird though if you have this charging while you are using it with the play and charge kit and then turn off the counsel the counsel really does not turn off and is still blowing hot air out of the back and drawing power. So I would unhook from the play and charge wire before turning off your counsel. Rating:

Great at first, but begins to diminish.
Like most people who own a 360, I got tired of constantly switching out dead batteries. I looked for an alternative and eventually settled on the Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack.
At first, it was a great decision. It worked like a charm. Only needed about an hour to charge and it lasted for a good 20 hours, give or take. This was much better than always buying new batteries to replace the old ones.
That only lasted a year though. After that, the time between charges began to shorten. It soon became apparent to me that with each charge, the lifespan of the charge was shrinking. Currently, my battery pack only lasts for about 2 hours and dies. It's very frustrating when I sit down to play and only after about five to ten minutes, I discover the battery needs to be charged up yet AGAIN.
For anyone looking for an alternative to just swapping batteries, you should look elsewhere. Unless you don't mind buying more than one battery pack, this isn't for you. This isn't the worst choice, but there are better things than this. Rating:

Good Product
Xbox 360 Rechargeable Controller Battery Pack's are very helpful, last at least 25 hours once fully charged. Which means that I don't have to worry about getting batteries for the controller at 3:00 AM while in the middle of a game. |
